Description: 
From Pueblo Indian Painting. p. 18: Figures in the Buffalo Dance (see Plates 4, 21, 25). Drawing by Velino Herrera, formerly known under the name of Velino Shije and who now signs his works by his Keres name Ma Pe Wi (Oriol). He was born at the Sia pueblo but his family come from the neighboring pueblo of Cochiti. Age about twenty five, this picture is in his early style.
