Description:
|
Park Town was one of Cincinnati's first urban renewal projects and conceived of as a co-operative, that is owned and controlled jointly by the residents. It is composed of 131 townhouses and 192 apartments on 12.7 acres in the West End. Designed originally for middle-income and professionals to halt their move to the suburb, Park Town within a year switched to a limited income requirement. Six different floor plans include efficiencies, one, tow, and three bedroom unites. Kitchens all had Formica counter tops along with fruitwood cabinets.
