Described in Vol. II, pp. 122-123. In the text, Catlin gives the name "Hol-te-mal-te-tez-te-neehk-ee" to this individual. Caption from Truettner catalog of Catlin's Indian Gallery. Entry from Catlin's 1848 catalog reads, "Hol-te-mal-te-tez-te-neek-ee, __________, 'Sam Perryman;' brother of the Chief above [Ben Perryman], and a jolly companionable man." Originally painted in 1834 (Truettner, 1979, p. 224).
