Description:
This blue, purple, and green checked wool bouclé coatdress shows a very unique yet functional side of a design by Cashin. Its large bell-shaped silhouette and dropped armholes allow for easy wear and an oversized, yet flattering look. It is sleeveless and is designed to be worn without an overcoat. The wool garment has an inner front pocket and matching green suede binding, another of the many examples of Cashin mixing materials. The brass turnlock closures in this garment are very typical of many of the garments in Cashin's collections, as everyday objects sparked her ideas for closures in her designs.(CAM#117)
