Description:
|
The present Union County courthouse was designed in 1883 as a "simultaneous twin to Henry County's" courthouse. The building is positioned in the middle of a large square, and is made of brick and cut stone with galvanized iron trimmings. The tower bells play tunes like "America the Beautiful" every hour.
