Description: 
This house won the Portland Cement Association Contest first place and grand award. Carole Hermes designed the interior using borrowed Herman Miller and Knoll furnishings. Childrens' furniture was designed by Rudy Hermes.. Carole made bed coverings, pillow covers, shower curtains using contemporary fabrics. The side of the house faced the street. A long windowless wall was located close to the property line maximizing outdoor space on the other side of the house.
