Description:
|
"The park's centerpiece, the pavilion, is one of three Cincinnati stylistically inspired by the Italian Renaissance. Completed in 1929, it was designed by architects Stanley Matthews and Charles Wilkins Short, Jr. Short later became an architectural supervisor for the PWA and edited a survey, published in 1939, of public buildings funded by that agency. The front terrace and walks were designed by Albert D. Taylor, who also designed landscape plans for the pavilions in Ault and Mount Echo parks."
