Description:
|
The central structure of this Federal house (1819) grew wings about 1860. Gorham A. Worth was cashier of the Cincinnati branch of the Second Bank of the United States, a poet, and a witty memorialist of his time in Cincinnati. He built his house as a country residence. Federal in style, it may be the oldest frame house in the city, predating less than a year the Taft house on Lytle Park."
