Caption from Truettner catalog of Catlin's Indian Gallery. Entry from Catlin's 1848 catalog reads, "Mun-ne-pus-kee, He who is not afraid. Ko-ha-tunk-a, the Big Crow. Nah-com-ee-shee, Man of the Bed. Three distinguished young warriors, who desired to be painted on one canvas." Originally painted in 1834 (Truettner, 1979, p. 154).
