ART WORKS Original painted by F. Bartoli, New York, 1786 (Trenton & Houlihan, 1989, Note 32). Horan (Haran, 1986, p. 118) indicates that it was painted as late as 1796 and that it is in the New-York Historical Society. The Bartoli portrait was copied by Bass Otis (1784-1861) (Horan, 1986, p. 118) A portrait by Charles Bird King (1786-1862) entitled "Young Cornplanter" painted in 1827 (Cosentino: 483) is in the Danish National Museum, Copenhagen, Denmark.
